Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of MAs and MSLs responsible for the scientific engagement with a health care professional in an assigned therapeutic area with a focus on performance management and personal development through mentoring, coaching and organisation of trainings in person or virtually.
  • Together with MAs and MSLs formulates country medical affairs plans based on broader regional strategy and new product pre-launch and launch plans.
  • Oversees implementation of annual plans and deploys necessary resources to ensure achievement of agreed KPIs.
  • Work on an ad-hoc basis with requests in the medical affairs field.
  • Support market access activities, particularly for new product launches.
  • Supports activities in the public affairs domain, including activities with patients and patient organisations.
  • Together with the team of country MAs and MSLs, localise global promo material in line with relevant standard operating procedures and laws.
  • Coordinate, engage, and collaborate with relevant team members on the country and regional level to deliver on medical affairs plan expectations.
  • Support the exceptional customer service of their team members by proactively anticipating and addressing customers’ problems, needs and requests together.
  • Support development of external relationships among their team members, influential critical customers, and thought leaders.
  • Ensure all activities are done within agreed budgets.

Qualifications

  • A University degree in Medical science or Pharmacy is preferred.
  • 5+ years of working experience in medical affairs.
  • Leadership experience is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, communication, coaching and presentation skills coupled with strategic thinking and the ability to interact with all levels of professionals internally within the PHOENIX organisation and externally.
  • Structured and entrepreneurially minded with an internal drive to continuously find solutions and support others in achieving success. Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in English. Other languages are a plus.
