Marketing Specialist

About the role:

The Marketing Specialist’s role is to execute the brand’s strategy aimed at significantly changing shopper and consumer behaviour short/-mid-/long-term. The position is offered on a fixed-term basis due to maternity leave coverage.

The position will require strong cross functional collaboration, working closely with marketing, sales, media department and external partners (agencies) to ensure bespoke execution of brand activity plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shopper and In-Store strategy to unlock sustainable and profitable category growth, deliver business targets and use data and multiple insights for continuous improvement activation plan, cover performance gaps and unlock the growth potential;
  • Support the Brand Manager with competitive landscape and brand’s performance sell out analysis on both core business and innovation;
  • Outlook on consumer dynamics and trends with qualitative analysis to inject new insights to the strategy; 
  • Support the Brand Manager in creating new toolkits (including Key visuals, communication pack in cooperation with other departments) and new communication assets;
  • Post launch assessments, focusing on learnings and eventually suggest viable actions/improvements; 
  • Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration, being part of the team with a specific and recognized role;
  • Project management, managing her/his own tasks with responsibility on accuracy and timing;
  • Co-create and execute the annual Operational Calendar and ensure continuous improvements year on year;
  • Develop and execute compelling in-store excellence based on insights and data, lead in-store acquisition process and design the best effective in-store visibility campaigns and tools, development and execute in-store materials, and control execution of campaigns and tools;
  • Continuously improve the effectiveness of in store point-of-sale materials and shopper claims while finding new ways to drive category growth with customers;
  • Collaborate and co-create closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Regulatory, Media) to make sure that respective input is integrated in all shopper activation plans to guarantee best possible sell-in and excellent execution In-store;
  • Agency and external supplier management.

Qualifications

  • University degree in pharmacy, business administration, marketing, economics or related;
  • Previous experience within a FMCG/Healthcare organization is preferred;
  • Strategic thinking and true understanding of the shopper insights and customers;
  • Passionate about driving brands & creating a seamless product experience for our shoppers;
  • Highly innovative and results driven personality with a hands-on & can-do mentality;
  • Strong analytical skills, passion, growth mindset and learning agility are needed;
  • Strong collaboration & stakeholder management skills, demonstrated in excellent management of internal and external stakeholders (e.g. agencies) and x-fctl teams;
  • Strong project management skills, experienced in managing several complex projects in parallel;
  • Ability to manage complexity with multiple projects;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Fluent in English and Slovenian.
