Business Development Manager

EL PHARMA Hungary Kft, the newly established dynamically growing entity of PHOENIX Hungary Group is offering Sales and Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Distribution, Tender Management, Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory services to its partners.

If you are familiar with the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, as a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for engaging the acquisition of new customers from the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Your role will be to manage our one stop shop service projects toward our customers. Your responsibilities include the preparation of commercial and service collaborations, project management and the achievement of commercial and project KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Analyze potential markets and assess the feasibility of new business opportunities
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations with other pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and healthcare organizations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders
  • Identify opportunities for product licensing, acquisitions, and co-development to expand the company’s product portfolio
  • Work closely with international and local R&D, regulatory, and marketing teams to bring new products to market
  • Conduct financial analysis and modelling to assess the viability and profitability of business opportunities
  • Prepare business cases, investment proposals, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with international a local marketing, sales, regulatory, and legal, wholesale and retail team, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives
  • Ensure all business development activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, or a related role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, including drug development, regulatory processes, and commercialization
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
