Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement business development plans.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Engage with customers early to gain insights into their needs, preferences, and pain points to identify opportunities for collaboration and service offerings.
  • Evaluate, and support in negotiating partnerships and agreements with potential partners.
  • Manage relationships with existing partners and stakeholders to ensure mutual benefit and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Conduct analysis to assess the viability and profitability of potential deals and partnerships with support from relevant internal functions.
  • Build relationships with potential partners and stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Collaborate with affiliates within company on business development opportunities and exchange best practices.
  • Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to partners.
  • Report internally business development activities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and progress toward business development objectives.
  • Ensure that all business development activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ experience in business development, within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of successful deal-making and partnership development.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external partners.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • English fluent.
