We rigorously adhere to legislative acts, market regulations, and sector standards, continuously enhancing our compliance system to align with best practices.

A centralized compliance organization oversees adherence to rules across our global operations. Local Compliance Managers ensure compliance within individual countries, supported by annual training and continuous policy reviews to maintain updated and effective internal regulations.

Ensuring the compliance function reports directly to the leadership team of Representation Services is crucial for maintaining organizational integrity and accountability, as it empowers swift decision-making and reinforces a culture of ethical conduct. With the full support of the Executive Board, the PHOENIX group has implemented a group-wide Compliance Management System and follow a zero-tolerance policy in case of breaches against it values, Compliance guidelines, or applicable laws.
The PHOENIX group has had the appropriateness of its Compliance Management System externally audited with the pillars Anti-Corruption, Competition Compliance, Sanctions & Embargoes Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering according to Assurance Standard 980 of the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany (IDW PS 980). The Appropriateness Certification was granted as of 31.01.2024. This enables us to ensure that we systematically counteract risks and have established effective processes.
